Well America, is first and foremost my home; the place I have lived for my entire life. It is the land of freedom, the home of bravery, a place where there are people so strong that they have conqured empires and defeated demons. We outlasted the soviets and took down the 3rd reich, we've fought battles that we knew we couldn't win, in order to help those who couldn't help themselves. We are the people who have a moral conscience that is both amazingly vast, but also self-depricating. We have the power and ability to change ourselves, we fight within ourselves in order to make changes that must be made. There is so much more.
I have written this introduction, to explain why I am doing this. I am making this blog in an order to understand why we do what we do, and to explain things that I understand about my country, and my people. We don't often have this idea, that others throughout time have. This idea of brotherhood, of Fraternity - where we love each other, and will work and fight for someone else just because they are an American. Americans are my people, my brothers and sisters, my allies, my countrymen, my friends, my neighbors, they are the only people I have known, and I think that I deserve their protection, and owe them my own. I want to unite the people of America, through logic and reason - bringing them together to face the challenges that lie ahead. Together, we shall know the world - we shall face it, and we shall come out better off.
